I am an UEFA C qualified coach as well as studying a degree in sports coaching with the Open University. I’ve been coaching for 3 years now, working with a variety of age groups looking to deliver sessions that are enjoyable and a good learning environment for children.

Currently studying Sports Development at UEA, really enjoying expanding my knowledge in the world of sport. Have always had a strong passion for football as well as sport in general. Determined to provide individuals with positive sporting experiences. Also work for a disability sports foundation which is an extremely rewarding role!

Harry Liggins

I recently graduated from the University of Lincoln with a BSc Hons in Sports Development and Coaching. Throughout my time at Lincoln, I developed a solid foundation of knowledge in several key areas such as the principles of coaching, sports science, performance analysis and psychology in sport. Additionally, through various placements, I built a wealth of experience coaching children of all ages and abilities including young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

Pawel Guziejko

Pawel is a qualified Football Coach and PE teacher, holding Master’s Degree in Sports Science with major in Physical Education. He has been coaching youth football for over 20 years and wrote several books about coaching young players. His coaching experiences in Poland, United States and United Kingdom led his interest in cognitive sports psychology learning and fundamental motor skills for children. He is an UK Coaching Licensed Tutor and delivery coaching workshops: ‘Coaching Children 5-12: The Next Generation. Currently holding FA Advance Youth Award and working towards UEFA A licence.

Mike Derbyshire

Mike is an FA Level 2 qualified coach with almost 20 years’ experience within youth & senior-level adult football across East Anglia. Mike was Head of Men’s & Women’s Football at the University of East Anglia (UEA) from 2015 to 2018. Along with his adult coaching roles, Mike has worked with youth footballers of all ages at clubs and in school settings, as well as has coached abroad too, taking a group of young footballers from the UEA to work with street children, orphans & children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Marrakech, Morocco, at the end of 2018. Most recently Mike completed Introduction to Child Psychology Course at Open University.

Paul Hawes

Paul has been with Pavfunball Academy from the onset…and he loves his goalkeeping! He is constantly developing his coaching style to create an enjoyable learning environment for all ages and believes that it`s important for players to find their own way of doing things that compliments the individual`s strengths. This in turn allows the players to understand and develop their own style. Paul holds the UEFA B Goalkeeping Licence gained with the Football Association of Wales along with the UEFA B Outfield Licence gained with the English FA and most recently completed Introduction to Child Psychology Course at Open University.

Jon Fowler

Jon is Level 2 coach and hold the degree in sports psychology from Stonebridge College. He specializes in psychology and mindset. Jon also coaches adult football and develops pathways for young players.

Scott Hawes

Scott currently holds UEFA C Licence in coaching football, National Futsal Qualification and most recently completed Introduction to Child Psychology Course at Open University. Scott has over 3 years experience coaching children helping grow their learning potential in a fun environment.

Aidan Measures

Aidan is a UEFA C licensed coach and is currently a student at the University of Worcester. Hoping to broaden his knowledge of coaching as a whole, he is studying for a Master’s Degree in applied sports performance analysis. He is currently a first team recruitment analyst within Southampton FC. He has been involved in youth football as a coach for 6 years now. Aidan has coached in various half term camps, school settings and a grassroots team environment. He has built up a good knowledge of how children learn best and what he can do to develop them as people as well as players.
