The PavFunball Academy for children coaching initiative has been developed by Pawel Guziejko. As a young coach Pawel studied Training Methodology, Sports Exercise Physiology and Sport Psychology at the Academy of Physical Education in Warsaw, Poland.
He completed his Master’s Degrees in 2003. Between 2003-2009 Pawel travelled to United States where he was engaged as a coach to numerous sports clubs and schools. In 2009 Pawel developed his university and practical knowledge into the book:
Co-ordination in soccer. A new road for successful coaching which has become a valuable education book around the physical aspect of coaching children and youth development. Since his return to Europe in 2009, he has been employed by Norwich City FC, The FA and Ipswich Town FC working with foundation phase players, educating coaches and PE teachers.
In 2013 he introduced more challenging and creative ways of training, one’s that take childrens’ development into account and this was incorporated into his second book: Creative mind. Development of free thinking football players.
Our academy would like to expand our products and services to meet emerging children’s coach’s needs. Our aim is to use our broad range of skills and 15 years of expertise and experience in different countries to become the major children’s coaching knowledge provider to coaches around the world. So, is this about improving coaching or learning? Or is it simply about coping with children? Well. It’s a little of the three, with coaching football standing as a metaphor for a great many things.
