Harvey Newstead

Harvey Newstead is a Player-Centred Football and Futsal FA Level 1 Licensed Coach. He is in his final year of the Level 3 Cambridge Technical in Sport and Physical Activity Extended Diploma, covering a wide range of aspects in sport.
Harvey was coached by the PavFunBall Academy Founder – Pawel Guziejko between the ages of 7-12, before Harvey completed his FA Junior Football Leaders Award and assisted Pawel’s FA Skills Coaching sessions for 3 years. He has also worked in the Foundation Phase of Football for nearly 2 years as a Birthday Party Coach for the FDC Bowthorpe. Harvey also has experience of delivering multi skills and working in Primary Schools.
After completing over 2,000 voluntary hours in football, in the 2017/18 season, Harvey was awarded the Norfolk and Regional Young Volunteer of the Year in The FA Community Awards. Outside of coaching, Harvey volunteers his time to the Norfolk FA Youth Council as the Football Futures Programme Officer. This includes planning and delivering Programmes for young people in Norfolk as well as working with the Coach and Referee Officers to develop and mentor young coaches and referees.
Harvey is also a Level 6 Football Referee and National list level 2 Futsal Referee as well as being Chairman of the Norfolk FA Young Referees Group and he sits on a National Referee Youth Council as the East Representative.
